Welcome to K.D. Design & Fabrication

KDDF consists of a team of experienced steel fabricators providing a range of services including steel fabrication and onsite welding. You can access galleries of examples of our work from our Products page.

We work in the areas of Structural Steelwork, Stainless Steel Fabrication (both to the Food Industry and for property development) and Architectural Steelwork (including English Heritage Work). We also specialise in on-site welding.

Our products include Stainless Steel and Glass Balustrading, Staircases and Fire Escapes, DDA Work and commercial and domestic Gates for pedestrian and vehicular access.

Our team of steel fabricators are based near Chard, Somerset, near to the border with both Devon and Dorset. We provide steel fabrication services mainly to the South West of England, however our steel fabricators and on-site welding experts are available for jobs anywhere in the UK. St. Aldhelm's Academy, Poole

We have recently made a stainless steel 'obelisk' for the St. Aldhelm's Academy in Poole.

This was not our first experience of artistic, outdoor sculpture, as we had previously undertaken an 'orb' for the Thomas Hardye School.
